IES Research and Development

IES are involved in all levels of research with respect to sustainable and environmental design for spaces, buildings, neighborhoods and cities. The Research and Development team have a proven track record of working with industrial and academic partners on singular and collaborative research projects. IES Ltd. are the lead for the AMBER project and are responsible for the successful operation of the project. Furthermore, IES are responsible for the investigation into the performance gap and they will undertake a sensitivity analysis using their suite of intelligent building software. This includes a comparison of the BER methodology against the Dynamic Simulation Models created on the award-winning platform IES VE (Virtual Environment).
