PROJECT RESULTS

The project began in November 2018 and the following highlights the results and progress the AMBER project has made so far:

Initial research conducted into the BER methodology
Collection of Building Energy Ratings from the first 50 domestic houses to be included in the study;
Research and identification of the sensors to be installed in the domestic dwellings at the O’Cualann development site in Ballymun;
Creation of the first Dynamic Simulation Models of the domestic dwellings, using the IES
Installation of sensors in over 30 domestic properties at the Ballymun development site.

This project has received funding from the Research, Development and Demonstration Fund from the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI)
